Player Stats

2006: Played in 26 matches making 23 starts...named 1st-team All-RRAC, 1st-team All-Region VI, Honorable Mention All-American, team-MVP, and Texas Wesleyan’s Female Athlete of the Year...twice named RRAC Player of the Week...ranked in the RRAC’s top-10 in hitting percentage (2nd, .372), kills (6th, 347), and total blocks (8th, 93)...reached double-figures in kills 19 times and had five or more blocks 13 times...recorded a career-high 23 kills against Southern Nazarene (9/16)...had 21 kills and five blocks at Bacone (9/29).

2005: Redshirt.

Prior to Wesleyan: Attended Weatherford Junior College (2001-02) and Tarrant County College (2002-05), but did not participate in volleyball.

2000 (Texas Wesleyan): Appeared in 84 games for the Lady Rams...was fourth on the team with 155 kills and third in blocks with 44...against Incarnate Word (10/21), registered 18 kills, five digs, and three blocks...tallied eight blocks versus Texas A&M-Commerce (10/3)...had 12 kills and three blocks against St. Edward’s (10/19)...also had a career-high 12 digs versus St. Edward’s (9/19).

High School: A three-year letterwinner for head coach Sandy Peters at Weatherford High School…was named 1st-team All-District in her junior and senior seasons.

Personal: Born Elizabeth Risgaard Meng, January 12, 1982, in Weatherford, TX…daughter of Morten and Sharon Meng…has one sister, Jennifer…is majoring in kinesiology.
