FORT WORTH, TX: In the first round of the Red River Athletic Conference Tournament at Texas Wesleyan University, #3 Huston-Tillotson topped #6 College of the Southwest 3-0 while #4 Texas College defeated #5 Northwood.
Huston-Tillotson advances to take on #2 Texas Wesleyan in a semifinal match at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The game is a rematch of a contest played in Austin, TX, on October 14. Texas Wesleyan came away with a 2-1 win in that game. Texas College advanced to face #1 UT-Brownsville at 6:00 p.m. UTB ran the table in the regular season at 7-0 in conference play including a 3-1 win over the Steers. |
