LADY RAMS SIGN ALLEN

FORT WORTH, TX:  Texas Wesleyan University’s head women’s soccer coach Josh Gibbs announced today the signing of Tara Allen, an outside back and center mid from Keller High School.

Allen has played for Kevin Fralick’s DFW Tornados 90’s team as well as coach Billy Griffiths’ Keller High School team.

“Tara is going to be a great addition to our program,” Gibbs commented.  “She is a hard tackling outside back that is smart on the ball.  She can play anywhere in the back, but is skilled enough on the ball and has the vision to play in the midfield if need be.  We now have a great deal of competition in our back line, and I expect Tara to challenge for playing time from the word go.  It's a great problem to have six quality backs for three to four spots."
