RAMS IN 5th AFTER ONE ROUND

SAN ANTONIO, TX:  The Texas Wesleyan University men’s golf team played the first two rounds of the Rattler Invitational hosted by St. Mary’s University.  The field played through light rain, and six teams did not finish round two.  After one round complete, Texas A&M leads the tournament at two over par 286 while the Rams sit in 5th at 297.

St. Mary’s K.C. Lim’s 68 was good for the individual lead.  Texas Wesleyan’s Mitch Hendon was just two behind the leader after round one.

Mitch Hendon continued to lead the Rams through 36-holes.  Hendon shot rounds of 70 and 74 for a total of 144.  Ryan Stephens shot 149, Will Woodring 152, Ryan Doskocil 153, and Justin Smith 155.
