MARSHALL, TX: The Texas Wesleyan University women’s soccer team (3-7) fell to 1-3 in games decided by a single goal this season.  East Texas Baptist (7-4) took a 1-0 win over the Lady Rams on Friday.

East Texas Baptist scored their lone goal in the first half and held on for the 1-0 win.

Head coach Josh Gibbs said his team played well in spite of the result.  “I felt like we dominated play,” Gibbs said.  “We just didn’t finish any chances.

The Lady Rams return to action immediately.  They travel to Texas College on Saturday.  That Red River Athletic Conference game is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.
