DALLAS, TX: The Texas Wesleyan University women’s volleyball team (12-5, 3-0 RRAC) breezed to their third consecutive Red River Athletic Conference win on Tuesday. The Lady Rams traveled to Paul Quinn College and took a 3-0 win.
The Lady Rams dominated game one with a score of 30-9, and then took wins of 30-15, and 30-14 to close out the match.
Liz Meng recorded 11 kills and four blocks. Sandra Ayala had eight kills and seven digs. Nine Lady Rams recorded at least on ace with Lauren Weems and Kim Danek leading the way with four a piece. Texas Wesleyan returns to the court this weekend. They will play at UT-Brownsville on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. and will then travel to San Antonio for a match with the University of Incarnate Word at 7:00 p.m. |
