Oklahoma City University’s Sarah Leonard netted the games first goal just under four minutes into the contest.
Brittany O’Brien kept the Rams close for the remainder with eight saves, but OCU stretched its lead to 2-0 in the 85th minute with a goal by Zoe Barratt.
“We had our chances tonight,” said head coach Josh Gibbs. “We just couldn’t finish one off.”
The Lady Rams are back in action on Thursday when they travel to Wichita Falls, TX, to take on Midwestern State University. That game is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. and will be followed by a men’s game. |
