RAMS PLAY MUSTANGS TO DRAW |
HOBBS, NM: The Texas Wesleyan University men’s soccer (1-2-2) team wrapped up a three game road trip with their third shutout of the season. Unfortunately the Rams could not find the net and played College of the Southwest (2-3-3) to a scoreless draw on Saturday.
The Rams’ two longest road trips of the season came in back-to-back contests. After last weekend’s 2-1 loss in Sterling, KS, Texas Wesleyan rebounded for a 0-0 draw today in Hobbs, NM.
“We’ve got a very talented team,” said head coach Josh Gibbs, “but today just wasn’t our day.” After a three-game road trip, the Rams return home for a pair of contests. They will host Huston-Tillotson University at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 29, before a much-anticipated match with rival Northwood University on Saturday, September 30. |
