DALLAS, TX:  The Red River Athletic Conference announced today that Texas Wesleyan University men’s soccer player Christian Villasenor has been named RRAC Player of the Week.

Villasenor, a sophomore forward from Fort Worth, TX, led the Rams to a 2-0 week by finding the net four times last week in a pair of conference victories. He knocked in two in a 6-0 win over Wiley College (Texas) and tacked on two more to provide the difference in a 4-2 win over Texas College. TWU is at the top of the RRAC men’s standings with a 3-0 conference mark and a 5-3 record on the season.

For the season, Villasenor ranks second on the team in points and goals with 9 points on 4 goals and an assist.

Villasenor and the Rams return to action on Thursday, October 6, when they travel to Muskogee, OK, to take on Bacone College in RRAC action.  That game is scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m.
