RAMS RANKED 3rd NATIONALLY

FORT WORTH, TX:  In the first NAIA National Rating of the spring semester, the Texas Wesleyan University men’s golf team is ranked 3rd.

The Rams moved up from 7th in the fall poll after posting a 3rd place finish in the Pfeiffer University Invitational at Pine Needles.  In that tournament, Texas Wesleyan recorded the low team round of the tournament in the final round to rally from sixth place after day one.  In addition, Justin Smith, who was playing as an individual, finished in a three-way tie for medalist.

Johnson & Wales (FL) and Oklahoma Christian maintained the top two spots in the poll.

Texas Wesleyan will return to action at the UST Texas Intercollegiate Tournament held at Hawks Creek, March 20-21.
