Andy Hughes allowed seven hits as the Rams
defeated the Steers 5-2 in Tyler on Friday. Matt Putman had four
hits and Cole Henry doubled to pace the offense.
On Saturday Wesleyan starters Shea Harrison and
Brad Shiller pitched well, but the Rams lost both games. Wesleyan
had only three hits in game one, losing 4-0, and four hits in game
two, losing 2-1.
The Rams now stand at 17-17-1 for the year and
7-8 in conference play. |
