The Lady Rams added scores from Misha McGowan and Megg Needham in the second half for the 11-0 final. Texas Wesleyan dominated ball control and outshot the Crusaders 34-0.
“We played well and obviously created a lot of opportunities,” said Head Coach Steve Jones. “It was good to be able to get everyone some playing time, experience, and confidence going into two games next week.”
The Lady Rams will return to action on Wednesday, September 28, when they host East Texas Baptist. That game is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. and will be followed by a men’s game against Wiley College.
