DALLAS, Texas - Texas Wesleyan junior Shea Harrison was named Red River AthleticConference Pitcher of the Week by the conference office Wednesday morning for the week of April 25th -May 1st.

     Harrison, a junior lefty from Arlington, Texas, defeated #21 Louisiana State University-Shreveport, 3-2, in his final regular season start of the year. Harrison mowed down nine hitters with one walk, while allowing two runs on four hits. He finishes with a 9-2 record on the season and a 4.06 ERA. Texas Wesleyan finished the season at 33-23 and is the second-seeded team in the 2005 RRAC Baseball Championship.

     Texas Wesleyan will be back in action Thursday when they face the 5th-seeded host Northwood University in the first round of the RRAC Tourney. First pitch is set for 12:30 p.m. at Knight's Field in Cedar Hill, Texas.
