2006: Named 2nd-team All-Conference as a catcher…appeared in 50 games starting 48…batted .304 with 52 hits in 171 at bats…scored 27 runs and drove in 38…had 12 doubles, 5 triples, and 8 home runs…led the Rams with 2-out RBI (12), SLG (.573), and caught stealing percentage (38%)…in the Region VI elimination game vs. Wayland Baptist Josh went 3-4 with a HR, 2 RBI and a run…in the Red River Conference tournament Josh went 8-21 with 2 doubles, 2 triples and 3 RBI…went 2-5 with a HR, 2 RBI, and a run vs. Oklahoma City (2/26)…placed 2nd in Red River in triples (5), tied for 4th in HR (8), and was 6th in SLG (.573).

2005: Named 1st-team All-Conference…named Red River Player of the Week on 3/29…appeared in 55 games starting 54…batted .390 with 57 hits in 146 at bats…knocked 21 doubles to go along with a triple and 3 home runs…scored 27 runs while driving in 29…hit first collegiate home run vs. Wisconsin-Platteville (3/23) while going 1-2 with a run and 2 runs batted in…in opening conference series vs. College of the Southwest (3/25-3/26) went 7-12 with 4 runs scored, 8 runs batted in, 3 doubles and a home run…vs. Mary Hardin Baylor (4/5) went 2-2 with 2 runs, 2 runs batted in, a double and a home run.

Prior to Wesleyan: Redshirted the 2004 season at Baylor.

High School: A two-year letter winner for Woody Champagne at Cy-Fair High School...named 2nd-team All-District as a senior...lettered four seasons on hockey team and named All-Region, All-District and team Most Valuable Player...won state championship in his freshman and sophomore seasons...spent first two years at Jenks High School.

Personal: Born Josh Vander Hey on Mar. 16, 1985, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada...son of Dan and Barb Vander Hey...has three sisters, Brooke, Ashley, and Brittany...majoring in business management.
